• Physics Felt Moderate: The Physics Section was of a moderate difficulty level. Mostly, Class 12 exam topics were asked about like Current Electricity and Electrostatics. More formula-intensive questions were asked.

Here are some of my insights on BITSAT 2026 April 15 Shift 2 after getting some fresh student feedback. 

• Overall Paper Analysis: The overall difficulty level was moderate to slightly tough as compared to shift 1, with Chemistry being a bit trickier than expected. 
• Physics Remained Moderate: In the Physics section, the difficulty level seemed to moderate with the same formula-heavy questions. It featured a mix of Class 11 & 12 topics like Kinematics and Magnetism. 
• Encountered Tricky Chemistry Questions:  The chemistry section was easy to moderate, but with unexpected, tricky inorganic questions and tougher numericals. Although organic Chemistry was lighter. 
• Mathematics was Tough & lengthy: The mathematics section was as tough as the BITSAT 2026 April 15 Shift 1 paper level, loaded with lengthy but doable Algebra and Coordinate Geometry problems.  
• English & Reasonings remained easiest: English & Logical Reasoning was the most scoring section as it was in the BITSAT 2026 April 15 Shift 1 paper. 

Subject-Wise BITSAT Exam Analysis April 16 Shift 1 

After an overall moderate 1st day of BITSAT 2026 Session 1, the April 16 Shift 1 Exam was moderate to a bit tough on the overall difficulty level. • Paper felt a bit Tough: Overall, the difficulty level was moderate to a bit tough in the April 16 Shift 1 paper. 
• Numericals Dominated Physics: The physics section was moderate to a bit tough with more of Class 12 topics and numericals. 
• Chemistry was NCERT heavy:  Chemistry was of a moderate difficulty level according to student feedback. NCERT Level Topics from Physical Chemistry and numericals dominated the paper. A few questions came from deleted chapters as well. 
• Lengthier Maths Section: The mathematics section remained on the tougher side in terms of difficulty level and was lengthy, but was doable for well-prepared students. 
• Stress-buster English & Logical Reasoning Section:  English & Logical reasoning remained the easiest section. Experts suggest it to be the most scoring. 

Subject-Wise BITSAT Exam Analysis April 16 Shift 2  

After aggregating the latest student reactions and expert discussions, I assessed the BITSAT 2026 April 16 shift 2 paper to be tough in overall difficulty. • Toughest Shift Among All: The Overall difficulty level was tough. It can be easily said as the toughest shift in the BITSAT 2026 Session 1 Exams.

I expect the cutoffs to dip 10-20 marks below the 2025 trends due to the lengthier Maths and Chemistry sections and a tougher shift 2 paper. My Suggestion on How to Prepare for BITSAT Session 2

After the BITSAT Exam Analysis of April 15 & 16 Shifts, I would recommend students to focus more on the lengthy Maths problems and the easier English/Reasoning section for Session 2 success. While also focusing on high-weightage repeated topics. Here’s my structured plan to succeed in BITSAT Session 2:

• Chapters to Revise First: Repeated High-weightage topics from April 15 & 16, such as the following:
  • Physics: Current Electricity, Mechanics
  • Chemistry: Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Organic Reactions
  • Maths: Calculus, Integrals/differentials, Vectors/3D, Conic Sections
  • Revise 3-4 times with NCERT formulas for 90% accuracy.
• Time Management Tips I Recommend:
  • Start with the easiest English/Logical Reasoning section. 
  • Move on to the Chemistry Section, followed by Physics.
  • Lastly, handle the lengthy calculations in the Maths section with a limited number of attempts depending on the difficulty level. 
  • Target 1 min to 1.5 minutes per question
  • Mark and skip the tougher ones; come back to them later. 
  • Daily practice 50-60 MCQ from BITSAT previous papers, BITSAT Sample papers and BITSAT Model Test Papers under timed conditions to increase speed.
• My Mock-Test Strategy After Session 1:
  • Take 1 Full-length BITSAT Mock Daily, trying to simulate 9 AM Slots. 
  • Carefully study the BITSAT Question Paper Pattern before answering mocks. 
  • Do a chapter-wise error analysis after each BITSAT Mock test. 
  • Aim 105-115 attempts with 80% accuracy
  • Revise weaker sections for 4 hours daily, every day. 

Conclusion

With the wrap-up of BITSAT 2026 Session 1 April 15-16 Exams, my BITSAT paper analysis across the shifts reveals a moderate to slightly tough exam that tested students’ speed over depth.  With Maths’s lengthy calculus problems, Tougher Physics numericals, tricky Chemistry questions, and easier English & Reasoning, the overall attempts ranged from 95-110, even for well-prepared students.
