How is the TNEA Rank Calculated?
Unlike many engineering entrance examinations, Tamil Nadu does not conduct an entrance examination for engineering admissions in the state. The rank is calculated based on the marks in the Class 12th subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Mathematics carries the weightage of 100 marks, Physics and Chemistry carry 50 marks each.
